DIRECTIONS TO VALLEY CREEK PARK

Valley Creek Park is located in East Whiteland Township amidst the Great Valley Corporate Center, and between Malvern and Charlestown on PA-29N.  This is a beautiful little gem and offers hiking trails, fishing, open fields, children’s play equipment and picnic shelter (not visible from the courts) and restroom.  There are not amenities other than a restroom with running water. 

From West Chester: 

Take US 202 N to PA 29N/Great Valley.  At the first light turn left onto Hwy 29/Morehall Rd. You will see Texaco and Sunoco on opposing corners flanking Swedesford Rd (onto which the ramp has dumped you).  On Hwy 29 go 0.6 mi and pull into the turn lane for Valley Creek Park.  You will have passed part of the Great Valley Corporate Center on your right.  There is not light at the turn, and if you get to the light at Great Valley Parkway you have gone too far.  Once you pull into the lot, drive to the far end and you’ll see the tennis courts.  Rest rooms are in a block building beyond the courts towards the creek about 150 yds. 

From Wayne:

Take 202S to PA 29N/Great Valley.  Stay on the exit ramp road until it intersects PA 29 and turn right.  Go approximately 0.5 miles, pass the Great Valley Corporate Center and turn right into Valley Creek Park.  You’ll see the courts as described above.

From Paoli:  

Take Route 30 to PA 29 at the Holiday Inn and turn right onto PA 29.  Go 1.2 mi to Valley Creek Park on the right.  Follow detail above.  Courts are at the far end of the parking lot and restrooms are about 150 yards away (past the red shed towards the creek) in a block building.

From Exton: 

Take Rt 30 to PA-29N and go 1.2 miles to the park on your right, or take 202 to PA 29N and go 0.6 mi to the park. 

From Oaks/Audobon:

Take Paulings Rd. across the Schukyll River and follow it until it intersects Hwy 23 in Valley Forge/Phoenixville.  Turn left toward Valley Forge Park.  Once in the Park, turn right onto Rt 252 and follow Valley Creek.  Take the first right, under the covered bridge onto Yellow Springs Rd.  Stay on Yellow Springs until it ends at PA 29/Moorehall Rd.  Turn left, pass the light at Great Valley Parkway, and take the next left into Valley Creek Park (no light).  Courts are at the far end of the parking lot and restrooms are about 150 yards away in a block building (past the red shed toward the creek).

From Kinetix (Fairview Village)

Turn Left onto Ridge Pike/PA 363.  Go 0.4 mi and turn right on to S. Trooper Rd/PA 363 and go 2.6 mi.  Merge onto US 422E towards PA-23/Bridgeport/King of Prussia and go 2.4 mi.  Merge onto US 202 S. towards West Chester and go 6.2 mi.  Exit PA-29N Great Valley and go 0.3 mi.  Take the ramp towards, and follow signs to PA 29N Great.  Turn left onto Swedesford Rd and go 0.3 miles.  At the gas station turn right onto PA 29/Morehall Rd.  Go 0.6 miles, and just past Great Valley Corporate Center turn right into Valley Creek Park.  Courts are at the far end of the parking lot.
